Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support surgical teams in a dynamic environment. This contract position welcomes candidates who are comfortable with either 8- or 10-hour shifts. The role requires adaptable professionals ready to take on a call schedule—which includes one weekday on call every two weeks and participation in the weekend call rotation.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Demonstrated experience in an OR setting
• Proficiency in orthopedic, Davinci robotic-assisted, neurosurgical, general, and gynecological procedures
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Previous travel assignments (a plus, but not required)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery and assist surgical team with procedures in the operating room
• Monitor patient status, provide perioperative care, and ensure a sterile and safe environment
• Accurately document all aspects of nursing care in compliance with hospital standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, surgeons, anesthesia teams, and fellow nurses
• Adhere to protocols for infection control and patient safety
• Participate actively in the call rotation (one weekday on call every two weeks, plus weekend rotation as scheduled)
