Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract position offers flexible scheduling, with options for either 8 or 10 hour shifts. The role includes call requirements: one weekday every two weeks, as well as participation in a weekend call rotation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Proven experience working as an Operating Room RN
• Demonstrated competence in Ortho, Da Vinci, Neuro, General, and GYN surgical procedures
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, acute care environment
• Effective communication abilities, working collaboratively with surgical teams

Schedule:

• Choice of 8 or 10 hour shifts
• Call duties: one weekday (every two weeks) and rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct preoperative assessments and support postoperative recovery
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and facility protocols
• Accurately document patient care and interventions
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency situations as needed
