Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Stepdown and Telemetry care. This contract position is ideal for professionals comfortable with high-acuity patients and seeking to further their clinical expertise.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts each week

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown, Telemetry, or Progressive Care unit
• ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Excellent communication abilities with a team-centered attitude

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered care for those needing close observation and advanced monitoring
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 on Stepdown, 5:1 during day shifts, and 6:1 during night shifts
• Perform thorough assessments and execute individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Document all care provided accurately and timely
