Inventory Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Fairfax, VA that is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Inventory and Operations Support Associate to assist with a short term, onsite project. This role involves hands on inventory management as well as light office and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable performing repetitive, accuracy driven work in a team environment. This position is based in our Fairfax office and requires consistent onsite attendance for the duration of the project.Key Responsibilities:Inventory and Operations Support:

• Inventory physical items and record relevant information accurately
• Handle products carefully during counting, preparation, and packaging
• Apply labels and materials according to established guidelines
• Organize inventory batches and track progress throughout the day
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency

Office and Administrative Support:

• Enter inventory data into spreadsheets or tracking systems
• Prepare documentation related to inventory or project progress
• Assist with printing, organizing, and filing project materials
• Support general office organization related to the project
• Communicate status updates or issues to the onsite lead as needed

Skills

• 2+ years of in-office experience, preferably in an environment where there are repetitive tasks that require organizational skills
• Must be a self-starter as once they show the person how to complete the task, they will do that same task throughout the assignment
• Software - MS Office experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
