This leader is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supporting and developing clinical staff, and fostering a positive and organized care environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an engaged leader, and a compassionate nurse who thrives in a collaborative setting and leads by example. What You'll Do Lead and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance Supervise, coach, mentor, and support caregiving and clinical staff Partner with the Resident Care Coordinator(s) and leadership team to maintain strong clinical operations and staffing support Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident well-being and quality outcomes Support caregiver education through orientation, ongoing training, and clinical guidanceMonitor resident health needs, changes in condition, and service plans while maintaining communication with physicians and families Ensure timely and accurate completion of nursing assessments, documentation, incident reports, and care plans Participate in resident evaluations, admissions, and transitions of care Collaborate with hospice, home health, and other healthcare partners to ensure continuity of care Lead or participate in resident care meetings and quality improvement initiatives Help create a calm, organized, and compassionate environment for residents, families, and staff Qualifications Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama At least two years of nursing leadership experience in assisted living or senior living.
