- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance accounts
- Manage and grow an existing book of commercial business
- Assess client risks and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Work closely with account managers and carriers to deliver excellent service
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Stay current on market trends, carrier appetites, and coverage options
- 3–5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales or commercial lines service
- Strong understanding of commercial coverages (BOP, GL, WC, Auto, Property, etc.)
- Proven sales ability or strong potential to produce and grow accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
- Active insurance license (or ability to maintain one)
- Established and growing agency with a strong reputation
- Competitive compensation (salary base + commission, based on experience)
