Litigation Attorney

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. This role is ideal for a passionate advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident in the courtroom, and committed to delivering top-tier legal representation for our personal injury clients. You will handle a full litigation caseload, with the support of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle and manage Personal Injury files from file through trial. Work up litigation files from filing the lawsuit, writing discovery and depositions, and trying the case. Willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff and other lawyers. Successfully lead a litigation team of 5 plus people. Litigate a case from beginning to end. Have good work ethics and present strong attention to detail. Ability to work cohesively in a team environment. Experience in supervising and managing other team members. Pre-Litigation case management and negotiation experience. Experience handling cases involving commercial motor vehicles. Willing to expand knowledge of trucking litigation and obtain board certification in truck accident law. Willing to work independently yet be accountable. Qualifications: Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school Current member and in good standing of the Georgia Bar Minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury litigation experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Trial experience preferred Commercial case experience a plus Experiencing litigating trucking and other commercial motor vehicle cases a plus Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Physical Requirements

: Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area. Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer. Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs. Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
