Warehouse Receiving Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our client's team. This role is responsible for a variety of receiving tasks, including:
- Receiving incoming inventory shipments and verifying accompanying paperwork
- Accurately entering inventory into internal systems
- Pulling and packing inventory to fulfill customer orders
- Generating packing slips and shipping labels
- Scheduling carriers and coordinating freight pick-ups and deliveries, including time-sensitive shipments
- Communicating order status and updates with internal teams and external customers via phone and email
- Conducting regular inventory counts, identifying discrepancies, and performing investigations as needed
Qualifications of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Accountable
- Self-motivated
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Ability to understand and consistently follow company procedures
- Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Pay range: $16.00 Physical Demand: Lift up to 50 lbs. periodically Working Conditions: Warehouse environment Education: High School, GED or equivalent
