Organizational Change Management Lead

Job Summary:

The Organizational Change Management Readiness Lead is responsible for preparing assigned departments and their stakeholders for the successful implementation of the OPAL Project. This role involves facilitating readiness activities, assessing deployment preparedness, and driving adoption of new processes and technologies within the organization. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, facilitate, track, and manage readiness activities.
• Partner with the Change Management team to ensure stakeholders are prepared to embrace new technology and process capabilities.
• Assess readiness status and make key decisions related to capability deployments.
• Work closely with department stakeholders to prepare for system implementation.
• Revise and identify configuration elements, integrations, and reporting requirements, making necessary changes.
• Drive standardization and adoption of new processes within departments.
• Engage key impacted users in deployment activities such as process and system setup confirmation, testing, training, communications, and conversion validation.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Knowledge of Full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from a change management perspective.
• Ability to maintain data confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create clear user and project documentation.
• Effective meeting facilitation, interviewing, and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in task assignment, coaching, and oversight.
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Experience creating and delivering communications content to impacted stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Organizational Change Management education related to ERP implementations.
• Experience with Workday Financials, Supply Chain Implementation, or similar Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
• Project Management expertise with relevant Project Management Institute certifications.
• Experience in large, decentralized public sector organizations.
• Familiarity with the City of Philadelphia or related areas.

• Work involves coordination with multiple stakeholders across departments.
• Hybrid work environment based in Philadelphia, PA.

Scheduling:

• Contract position lasting 4+ months.
