Sr. Databricks Lead

Role Sr. Databricks Lead Location Dallas, TX (Onsite) Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize big data ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Create scalable data solutions and manage data workflows to support analytics. Develop and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark. Work with structured and unstructured data utilizing Delta Lake for efficient storage and management. Perform performance tuning and optimization on Databricks clusters and Spark jobs for cost‑efficiency. Use workflow orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Airflow for scheduling. Integrate Databricks with cloud data sources (Azure Data Lake Gen2, S3) and BI tools. Implement data quality checks, validation, and security protocols. Technical Skills Expert-level knowledge of PySpark, Apache Spark, and SQL. Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks (most common), AWS Databricks, or GCP. Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, and data warehousing concepts. Proficiency in Python, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Delta Lake, Git, and Azure DevOps. Qualifications 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or software development, with at least 7 years in Databricks. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data lake architectures. Desired Skills Digital transformation experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Saransh Inc
