When your day begins at 3:45pm, you’re the go-to leader on the floor—guiding operators, fine-tuning processes, and keeping production humming until 12:15am. As part of our employee-owned team, your decisions shape quality, safety, and output—and your ownership stake means you share in the wins.

• Welcome the team, assign machines and jobs, and set the pace for the shift.
• Dial in processes—troubleshoot complex setup and injection molding issues to keep parts in spec and on time.
• Watch the flow: monitor throughput, maintain an organized work cell, and escalate maintenance needs quickly.
• Keep quality front and center—verify adherence to approved work instructions and customer requirements.
• Capture the story of the shift—prepare reports and hand off cleanly at changeover meetings.
• Lead by example—model safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Be prepared to administer first aid and coordinate medical attention if an injury occurs.
• Pitch in with mold and equipment maintenance when needed.

• Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Hours: 2nd shift, 3:45pm – 12:15am (overtime required)
• Training: A few weeks on 1st shift to get you up to speed
• Location: Elgin, IL

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of plastic injection molding experience with strong troubleshooting capability
• Supervisory or leadership background preferred
• Clear communication and solid basic math skills
• Ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

• Lift up to 80 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Injection molding expertise
• Blueprint reading
• Experience with Plastics – Nylon 6, Nylon 66, and PA66 materials
