Job Description CTR Group is seeking a SOFTWARE FIRMWARE WRITER - INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION, for a Manufacturing Company in the Newport News, VA area. Salary: $110K with Benefits. SUMMARY: We are seeking another Software/Firmware writer. Requirements:
- BS in EE or computer science, or ASET w/ equivalent experience
- 5 years' experience in C/C++ programming
- 3 years' experience in embedded processor programming in C/C++
- Significant experience with NXP processors and the NXP development platform
- Experience with FreeRTOS for embedded systems
- Familiarity with common industrial protocols (OPC/Modbus/EthernetIP)
- General electrical and electronics background
- Strong documentation skills
- Self-starter, can work alone and in team environments
- Experience with PLC programming (ladder logic/structured text) and PICs
- Experience programming Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Experience with MS Teams, Azure and Office apps
