Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants in the Village ofClarkston, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients, assisting with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help with mobility and transferring, including use of assistive devices when necessary. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed. Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures. Requirements Previous experience in a caregiving role is a plus but not required. Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications. Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods. Benefits Competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
