Specialty: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Waterloo, IA 50702 Start Date: September 6, 2026 Shift: 12-hour day shift, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Job Requirements Active RN license in the appropriate state of practice At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment Current certifications and onboarding documents as required for assignment Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical/surgical patients Assess patients, monitor condition changes, and document care accurately Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team Support patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination Respond promptly to changes in patient status and elevate concerns appropriately Maintain a professional, compassionate approach to bedside care Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity?
