Inventory clerk

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy across the facility through regular physical counts, system audits, and data entry. This position bridges physical warehouse handling and digital inventory management, requiring strong computer skills to reconcile stock discrepancies, generate reports, and manage data within a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP software.

Key Responsibilities

• Physical Inventory & Auditing: Conduct daily cycle counts, full physical inventory audits, and location checks; reconcile physical stock against database records.
• System Data Entry & Tracking: Accurately log inventory arrivals, transfers, damages, returns (RMA), and adjustments into the company's WMS/ERP system in real time.
• Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve inventory variance errors, missing stock, misplaced items, and shipment discrepancies; document root causes.
• Digital Receiving & Shipping Verification: Verify incoming and outgoing manifest data using handheld RF scanners, tablets, and barcode verification tools.
• Reporting & Communication: Generate automated inventory reports (stock levels, turnover, slow-moving items, space utilization) and communicate findings to warehouse leadership.
