Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:30) with occasional 11:00 - 11:30 PM shifts as needed. Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage required. No call.

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide care in our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience and a commitment to patient care across a diverse patient population, addressing a variety of medical emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in areas including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective treatment plans.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers welcome.
• Active RN license required at the time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Previous experience in a STEMI and Stroke certified facility preferred.
