Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (occasional 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage required | No call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Care for special populations including cancer patients, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Support hospital specialties including cath lab, women's health, and stroke care
• Participate in STEMI and stroke response protocols
• Float to other system campuses as needed
• Complete non-billable orientation modules as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity and diverse patient populations including oncology and behavioral health
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
