Machinist

Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Machinist in Beverly, Ma. Setup and operate a range of manual machinery, utilizing any accessories or tooling necessary to manufacture precision parts and assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards. Independently determine order of operations and design tooling and workholding fixturing necessary to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision. Will be responsible for first piece, in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain records and quality documentation.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $50/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED required.

Advanced trade school or AA in technical field preferred.

3 years of advanced work experience or concentrated machining training with a strong understanding of machine tool processes.

Ability to read, interpret and work from technical drawings, written or verbal instructions.

Strong trouble shooting, problem-solving & organizational skills.

Fluent in the setup & operation of mills, lathes, surface grinders & other support equipment required.

ProtoTRAK experience preferred.
