CNC Setup Machinist – Ipswich, MA Pay: $25.00 – $36.00/hour (based on experience) Hours: 40–50 per week | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | Overtime Available Employer: D&D Manufacturing LLC About the Role D&D Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Machinist to join our precision machining team in Ipswich, MA. This is a full-time, hands-on machining position where you’ll be setting up and running CNC mills and lathes in a dynamic job shop environment. Responsibilities Set up CNC milling and turning machines (Haas, Mazak, Fanuc controls) with proper tooling and fixtures Interpret blueprints, GD&T, hand sketches, and verbal instructions to machine precision components Machine parts from steel, stainless steel, tool steels, aluminum, plastics, and exotic alloys Ensure quality throughout the process using inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, height gages, etc.) Work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, high-mix environment Qualifications Minimum 2 years CNC milling experience in a job shop environment Strong knowledge of CNC setup for both mills and lathes Ability to read and understand blueprints & GD&T Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas controls Experience with inspection equipment and machining tolerances Why Join D&D Manufacturing?
