**Join Our Dynamic Oncology Nursing Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position**: Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - **Shift**: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) - **Years of Experience Required**: 1 year - **Patient Age Groups**: Adults, Geriatrics - **Daily Census**: 6 Infusions plus 1-2 port draws - **Number of Beds**: 20 - **Certifications Required**: - BLS - Oncology Certified (ONCC or ONS) - **Charting System**: Epic (preferred) - **Responsibilities**: - Administer chemotherapy: - Continuous infusion - Oral administration - IV therapy/infusions - Provide care and management of ports: - Central line/implanted line care - Monitor oncologic emergencies: - Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS) - Anaphylaxis - Extravasation injury - Hemorrhage - Sepsis - Spinal Cord Compression - Symptom management for: - Altered mental status - Constipation/diarrhea - Dysphagia - Edema - Nausea/vomiting - Neuropathy - **Special Equipment**: - Alaris Infusion Pumps - CADD Ambulatory Pumps - **Work Environment**: - Supportive team atmosphere with a caring manager - Recognition and awards for travelers - **Shift Options**: - 7:45-16:15 - 8:00-16:30 - 8:30-17:00 - 9:00-17:30 - 9:30-18:00 - **Additional Information**: - No weekends required - No call required - Locals accepted - Guaranteed hours: 40h **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol)**: At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
