You will have responsibilities over contractual requirements, design model review and field survey operations, and should plan to spend around 50% of your time in the field observing and instructing the survey operations on the job site. This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs.Responsibilities: Oversee all surveying operations for the construction of Mobile River Bridge, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications. Develop and implement surveying plans, methodologies, and best practices to optimize field data collection and layout. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop survey plans and schedules. Lead a team of surveyors and field personnel, providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure alignment between design intent and field execution. Utilize advanced surveying technology, including GPS, total stations, LiDAR, and drones, to capture and analyze data. Conduct quality control checks to verify survey accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements. Manage survey data processing, ensuring integration with project management and BIM software. Prepare and maintain detailed survey reports, logs, and documentation for project records. Ensure all survey activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all surveying activities. Troubleshoot and resolve survey-related challenges on-site, adapting to changing project conditions.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree is preferred Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is considered an asset 10+ years' experience in Construction Survey, Dimensional Control, Industrial Measurement, or a related field is required Must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry to perform calculations (area, volume, circumference, proportion, percentage) Proficiency in using survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors. Experience with survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
