Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct both standard and specialized clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established guidelines.
• Examine test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and sample preparation when necessary.
• Thoroughly document processes, mentor newer staff members or students, and uphold our lab's quality initiatives.
• Ensure a clean and secure working environment, complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Clinical Laboratory Science Board of Certification (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
