We are looking to add a Behavioral Health Technician to our growing team!Required QualificationsOne year experience in alcohol/drug treatment and demonstrate a basic understanding of the principles of chemical dependency recovery with direct patient contact preferredCandidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populationsMust have valid driver's license and auto insurance (provides confirmation to be eligible for company coverage)Must be able to walk within the facility and on the grounds of the facility for approximately one (1) mile per every eight (8) hour shiftAble to stand continuously in increments of 45 minutes to one (1) hourCapable of administering CPR (certification provided if needed)Must be capable of seeing and hearing activity in their surroundings constantlyMust be emotionally and physically capable of functioning under stressful situationsIf recovering, two years of continuous verifiable abstinencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, substance abuse or related subjectCertified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) or related certification(s)Active CPR certificationTwo (2) or more years working with people in chemical dependency recovery with regular direct patient contactWe're officially a Great Place To Work®!
