This position is a manufacturing operator position intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities. The hours are Thursday-Sunday 6am-4:30pm.What You'll Do...Perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal partsOperate post-processing equipment including bandsaws, EDMs, and hand toolsConduct visual inspections and follow quality control proceduresCommunication of necessary tools and consumable items for day to day operationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of post-processing work areasDocument work performed and report part non-conformancesFollow safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement effortsYou have...High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or hands-on technical roleFamiliarity with MES systems and other computer based systems (Microsoft office, SmartSheets, etc.)Comfort using hand tools and basic measurement devices (calipers, micrometers)Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructionsWillingness to wear required PPE including respirators, gloves, and protective clothingAbility to work overtime or shift schedules as required by production demandsStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to maintain compliance with aerospace quality and safety standardsThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required.
