Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a long standing and growing company in Sacramento, Ca. This is a hybrid role located in downtown Sacramento.


This position is responsible for GL Accounting for multiple entities, bank reconciliations, intercompany transfer, journal entries and overseeing specific key projects for the accounting department.


The qualified candidate has strong general ledger, bank reconciliation and journal entry experience.

• Pay range: $85,000-$95,000/Year (DOE)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce month end financial statements.


• Manage bank account balances to meet liquidity needs.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate audits.

• Reconcile and maintain the general ledger with complete documentation for balances.

• Lead corporate accounting projects, setting timelines, assigning tasks, and providing team training.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years' accounting experience. Public accounting experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.

• Strong GAAP knowledge.

• Excellent communication skills across all levels of leadership and employees.

• Experience with accounting software and financial systems (NetSuite, MS Dynamic, or similar).

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
