Healthcare ConciergePark Place of Elmhurst is an elegant five-star community conveniently located across the street from Edward Elmhurst hospital. Here at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Healthcare Concierge to join our senior living community. This role serves as a welcoming presence for residents, families, and visitors, ensuring a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment. The Healthcare Concierge plays a key role in enhancing the overall resident experience by assisting with daily needs, coordinating services, and fostering meaningful connections.Hours:Every Friday: 4:00–8:00 PMEvery Other Weekend: Saturday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM and Sunday 2:00 PM–8:00 PMBenefits:PLS HR Benefits Flyer IL INKey Responsibilities:The ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor and pleasant mannerExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation and comfort level working with seniorsEffective multitasker, handling work orders, guest suite reservations, and resident accommodations efficientlyCapable of managing and sharing information as appropriate to ensure resident needs are met in a timely mannerSuperior organization skillsAdept at maintaining discretion and professionalismFamiliar with Microsoft Office Suite software, and comfortable with computer systemsRequirements:Have at least 2-4 years of experience in customer service/relationsMust enjoy working with seniors. Have a desire to work with and make a daily difference in the lives of the geriatric population.Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and have excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to meet deadlinesPossess good public relations, communication, general office, clerical and telephone skillsMust be independent and self-motivated.Responsible in assisting all staff to proactively ensure resident needs are metStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to relate well to residents and their familiesHave a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance.Be friendly, compassionate, and empathetic to all customers and prospectsPreferred Skills:Experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care settingsStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilitiesAbility to build trust and meaningful relationships with residents and families
