Intern - Development - Portfolio Strategy and Analytics

Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support portfolio strategy and analytics initiatives during a 10-12 week summer program. The role involves analyzing enterprise data, developing strategic frameworks, and collaborating across teams to inform organizational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support development of strategic frameworks to guide organizational decision-making
- Review program and enterprise data to identify trends and operational improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Strategy and Analytics team and cross-functional stakeholders
- Communicate proactively with leadership to ensure alignment on workstream goals and scope
- Deliver final presentation summarizing internship project work and findings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. institution
- Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
- Independent work authorization in the United States; no sponsorship required
- Ability to commit 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August
- Willingness to work hybrid at Foster City location; relocation may be required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to manage competing priorities
Compensation: $20.00 - $55.00 hourly; benefits include paid holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible employees
