Job Description As a Security Guard Healthcare Perimeter Rover in Tempe, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, use computer-based systems, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMTue09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat05:00 PM - 05:00 AMSun05:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare laboratory setting. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of laboratory areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and/or visitor interactions. Support a professional environment by reporting maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and security-related issues to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
