Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to donors, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site policies, maintaining awareness of donor privacy and facility operations. Carry authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
