Electrical Engineering ManagerWe are looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Gastonia team!As our Electrical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for managing a major engineering function within the reporting unit, with accountability for people, processes, and budget oversight. This role leads a team of professional engineers by setting departmental objectives, allocating resources, directing system requirements and specifications across multiple phases, and overseeing engineering design, construction, installation and ongoing support actives to achieve operational targets and contribute to broader organizational goals. Demonstrated experience managing professional engineers and engineering operations within a technical or industrial environment.Must be a US CitizenExperience with departmental budgeting, resource planning, and process management.Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle activities, including design, implementation, and operational support.Proven ability to develop system requirements, guide technical decision-making, and influence cross-functional outcomes.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance tactical execution and people7-10yrs of experience in design engineering and/or technical project management is required.7-10yrs of experience in the aerospace, defense, or automotive industry is preferred7-10yrs of experience in requirements-based development per aerospace industry guidance (i.e., ARP-4754, DO-254, DO-178, DO-160) for safety-critical systems and equipmentDemonstrated experience leading communication with customers on technical topics, project progress, and issue resolutionDemonstrated experience leading root cause / corrective action initiatives via 8D, A4, 5-why, Ishikawa, or equivalentA track record of developing technical talent, demonstrating servant leadership practices, and advocating for team members successA willingness to perform other duties as assigned.Who We AreOur ValuesEnvironmental, Social and GovernanceCurtiss-Wright Actuation Division designs, manufactures, and supports electro-mechanical actuation products and systems for use in demanding applications in Aerospace, Defense and Industrial Automation markets.
