An international aerospace manufacturer is seeking Quality Auditors to develop, manage, and perform AS 9001 quality audits to drive continuous improvement at the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AS 9100 audit plans.
- Establish appropriate product-conformity standards based on drawings, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate production processes and check for quality in appearance, composition, and functionality.
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
- Create and present quality audit reports to senior management.
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related field.
- At least five years of experience as a quality auditor in AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and/or ISO 14001 and in a related industry.
- Completed the training of an auditor for AS 9100 from one of the AS 9100 regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office Suite.
- Certification from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of industry standards.
