A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WASTEWATER SPECIALIST As a Wastewater Specialist, you spend your day involves assisting the Plant Manager in coordinating the financial, operational, physical, resources of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory. Work involves preparing and reviewing all periodic reports concerning Wastewater Treatment Plant Lab operations, performance, and maintenance. Your job is essential to the city, and you often conduct seminars and training sessions to explain industrial treatment techniques and public tours of the Plant. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. You enjoy being helpful and have no problem aiding and support to other divisions within the department as needed. The city needs someone like you with skills in maintenance, operation and you finding genuine enjoyment in what you do!QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WASTEWATER SPECIALISTHigh school diploma, GED or equivalency Requires one (1) year experience in Wastewater laboratory and treatment procedures.Three (3) years' experience in related field preferredMust possess a TCEQ Class "B" Wastewater Operator's License. Are you someone who prefers hands-on work?
