Assist in coordinating appointments, surgeries, and post operative care for athletes in conjunction with team physicians, surgeons, and physical therapists Supervise athletic training interns/students (must serve as Preceptor to athletic training students as assigned) Assist / Manage treatment scheduling, oversee medical records, maintain/update rehabilitation progress reports and record injuries and care delivered in the EMR System (ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance) What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
