Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at an acute care hospital facility in Torrance, CA. The facility is a 356-bed acute care hospital utilizing Epic for charting. Must be flexible working weekends. Looking for a strong caregiver who can support the PM shift. Precepting skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PM shift as a strong caregiver in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Float to Mother Baby unit as needed.
• May be required to float to Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
• Utilize Epic for clinical charting.

Required Skills

• Precepting skills preferred.
• Flexibility working weekends is required.
• Ability to float between like units (Mother Baby).

Education Requirements

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
• AWHONN Advanced certification required.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.
• Pending license not accepted must hold active license at time of submission.

Required Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.

• Scrub Color: Any color.
• Charting: Epic.
• Parking: Free.
• Night shift (19:0007:00), 3x12-hour shifts.
• On-call not required.
• Must be flexible working weekends.
• May be required to float to Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro.
• Open to accommodating block schedule per manager discretion.
