Job Summary for Dealer Consignment Inside Sales Coordinator

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Dealer Consignment Inside Sales Coordinator to manage and grow our dealer network. In this office-based role, you will act as the vital bridge between independent and franchise dealerships, our outside field sales representatives, and the auction floor. You will be responsible for soliciting vehicle consignments, coordinating the physical intake process, and tracking each vehicle from gate to gavel to ensure high conversion rates for our weekly auction events.

• Base Pay: $16-18 per hour (commensurate with auto industry experience).
• Incentive Structure: Monthly volume bonuses based on the total number of dealer consignment vehicles run and sold.

Key Responsibilities for Dealer Consignment Inside Sales Coordinator

• Outbound Pipeline & Tele-Sales: Conduct targeted daily outbound calls to registered dealerships to secure vehicle consignments for upcoming live and digital lanes.
• Gate-to-Gavel Tracking: Oversee the entire lifecycle of consigned vehicles from the moment they cross the auction gate until the gavel drops, ensuring vehicles move seamlessly through every stage of preparation.
• Intake & Check-In Coordination: Manage the initial vehicle check-in process, ensuring accurate vehicle data entry, verifying vehicle arrival lists, and matching incoming inventory with proper dealer accounts.
• Reconditioning Tracking: Follow up with internal transport, detail, and mechanic shops to ensure vehicles are properly routed, washed, and repaired prior to running.
• Inventory Control & Launching: Verify that condition reports (CRs) and multi-angle photos are accurately processed and launched onto auction management platforms like Simulcast and Edge Pipeline.
• "If Bid" & Offer Management: Actively work the "If Bid" board post-auction, negotiating between wholesale buyers and selling dealers to convert tentative bids into completed sales.
• Arbitration & Dispute Resolution: Serve as the primary internal liaison to assist dealers with Post-Sale Inspections (PSI), title delays, and resolving minor arbitration disputes.

• Full time
• Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 9am - 5pm
• Wednesday 9am - 5:30pm
• Friday 9am - 1pm

Requirements:

  Qualifications & Requirements for Dealer Consignment Inside Sales Coordinator

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an auto auction, automotive dealership, or wholesale vehicle environment is highly preferred.
• Logistics & Workflow Knowledge: Clear understanding of the sequential steps a wholesale vehicle takes through an auction facility (Gate ? Check-In ? Recon ? CR ? Lane).
• Platform Familiarity: Exposure to auto auction systems (e.g., Auction EDGE, ASI, Salesforce, OVE, SmartAuction) is a significant advantage.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to handle high-volume phone environments, overcome price objections, and close wholesale deals.
• Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work extended hours on designated Sale Days to support administrative lane operations and walk-in dealers.
