Job Description
Position: Shipping Clerk
Job Summary:The Clerk plays a vital role in coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in logistics operations. This position involves verifying appointments, processing delivery information, and maintaining detailed records while adhering to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:- Checking in and out of trucks.
- Verify Appointments.
- Complete daily reports.
- Call and schedule drivers.
- Process delivery information.
- Keep the area clean.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Assist with clerical duties in other departments as needed. Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English.
- Ability to multitask and constantly be on the move throughout the workday.
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Fulltime availability.
- 1st Shift.
