Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving

Job Description

This role focuses on supporting warehouse operations through accurate shipping and receiving, material handling, and inventory control. You will manage material flow, verify parts and documentation, assist with order fulfillment, and support various departments with simple assemblies and wiring. Training is provided for specialized tasks, and the position offers the opportunity to learn new skills and grow into different areas of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Handle all material flow throughout the warehouse, including pulling tickets and ensuring materials move efficiently to the correct locations.
• Fill spare time by assisting in various departments, performing simple assemblies and wiring tasks with full training provided.
• Verify correct part numbers against packing slips and pull tickets, and accurately check parts into bills of material.
• Order all shop supplies, including fittings, electrical supplies, raw stock, paint, and other materials needed for production.
• Distribute all job materials to shop personnel, re-verifying correct part numbers and quantities before handoff.
• Identify, document, and resolve all material discrepancies and non-conformances in coordination with the warehouse team.
• Dispose of leftover material from jobs by returning items to inventory, arranging returns for credit, or following other approved disposal processes.
• Make pick-ups and deliveries as needed to support production and warehouse requirements.
• Assist the warehouse team with problem-solving and order picking when needed to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Respond to warehouse emails promptly and professionally to maintain clear communication and workflow.
• Create job tags using the engraving machine and Phoenix printer to ensure clear labeling of materials and jobs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse standards.
• Expedite orders when required to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Participate in onsite interviews and collaborate effectively with operations leadership and team members.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of warehouse experience, including exposure to shipping and receiving, inventory, and material handling.
• Strong attendance record and reliability, with a consistent commitment to scheduled work hours.
• General labor skills, including the ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Experience with inventory control, including counting, tracking, and verifying materials against documentation.
• Proficiency in picking and packing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of logistics and shipping processes, including documentation and coordination of deliveries and pick-ups.
• Ability to assist with production-related tasks within a warehouse environment.
• Comfort working in a shipping and receiving environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Positive attitude and good personality, with the ability to fit in well with the team and collaborate effectively.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, tools, and processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience or willingness to learn forklift operation, where applicable.
• Ability to perform simple assembly and wiring tasks with training provided.
• Basic computer skills for responding to warehouse emails and working with inventory or order systems.
• Attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, and documentation such as packing slips and pull tickets.
• Problem-solving skills to assist with warehouse issues related to picking, materials, and order flow.
• Capability to learn and operate equipment such as engraving machines and Phoenix printers for job tagging.
• Comfort working in a production-oriented warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with shop personnel and warehouse team members.
• Adaptability to support various departments and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role is based in a warehouse and production setting where you will work with materials, shop supplies, and tagging equipment such as engraving machines and Phoenix printers. The environment is active and hands-on, requiring regular movement, material handling, and interaction with shop personnel and warehouse staff. You are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow standard safety practices appropriate for a warehouse and shipping/receiving operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Bristol,PA.
