This role focuses on accurately processing multi-location payroll across bi-monthly and weekly cycles, handling manual calculations, adjustments, and reconciliations for a high-volume employee population. You will contribute directly to a collaborative payroll team and support ongoing growth by ensuring timely, compliant, and precise payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Process daily manual payroll calculations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Perform corporate payroll adjustments each week, ensuring all changes are correctly reflected in employee pay.

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for bi-monthly and weekly payroll cycles across multiple locations.

• Handle payroll for at least 300 employees per week, maintaining consistency and timeliness in all transactions.

• Manage and reconcile payroll data, including hours, rates, deductions, and benefits, to ensure accuracy before final submission.

• Administer payroll tax calculations and ensure proper withholding and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Process deductions and garnishments in accordance with policies and legal requirements.

• Support both union and nonunion payroll processes as needed, collaborating with payroll team members and managers.

• Use Excel tools such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions to analyze, validate, and reconcile payroll data.

• Identify discrepancies in payroll records and resolve issues promptly by researching and correcting data.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve payroll processes and contribute to a positive, growth-oriented culture.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in payroll processing, including daily manual calculations and weekly corporate payroll adjustments.

• Hands-on experience managing bi-monthly and weekly payroll cycles.

• Ability to process payroll for at least 300 employees per week in a high-volume environment.

• Strong knowledge of payroll tax, deductions, and garnishments.

• Experience with multi-local payroll, handling employees across multiple locations or jurisdictions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy in all payroll-related tasks.

• Ability to work effectively within a structured payroll team and meet strict deadlines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with both union and nonunion payrolls is beneficial.

• Background in payroll reconciliation and resolving payroll discrepancies.

• Comfort with high-volume transactional work and fast-paced payroll cycles.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple payroll cycles concurrently.

Work Environment

You will work within a dedicated payroll department that is organized into union and nonunion teams, each led by a payroll manager. Each team consists of approximately 8 to 10 payroll professionals, creating a collaborative and supportive environment. The work involves regular bi-monthly and weekly payroll cycles, high-volume processing, and multi-location payroll responsibilities. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisville, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
