Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

We are working with a publicly traded global client who is looking to add a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to the SEC Reporting team. This is a core financial reporting seat, not an accounting generalist role with SEC exposure as an afterthought. You will own significant portions of our 10-K and 10-Q filings, coordinating with external counsel, auditors, and internal stakeholders, and be expected to operate with minimal oversight once up to speed. The right candidate is someone whose Big 4 training is still fresh, who has lived through a few busy seasons, and who wants ownership rather than assistance work. What you'll own: Prepare and review financial statements, footnote disclosures, and supporting schedules. Disclosure and tie-out packages Own the tie-out process from trial balance through final filing. Maintain supporting workpapers that hold up under auditor scrutiny.
