Key Responsibilities: Greet our patients as they enter the center always making them feel welcomed Provide patients with the necessary forms to complete providing explanations and assistance as needed Register patients entering demographic and insurance information with upmost accuracy into our electronic medical record system Verify insurance eligibility, collect and record receipt of co-pays Answer telephone calls and relay messages as needed Perform various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, faxing and scanning Other administrative duties as assigned/needed Help to ensure that the patients are flowing through the center efficiently If you are: Friendly, professional, hard-working and have a contagious positive attitude Genuine and kind, and like to make people feel welcomed and special Great with clear, professional and positive verbal and written communication skills Dependable, able to multitask and are a team player Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proficient with the use of computers, experience with electronic medical record systems preferred 2-3 years of customer service experience, medical reception experience preferred Available to work predominantly weekends 8am-5pm AFC Urgent Care South Portland is part of the largest network of urgent cares in the nation with 400+ clinics caring for nearly 3 million patients a year.
