• Wipe down all surfaces in resident rooms and shared areas multiple times daily
• Disinfect high-touch points including door/cabinet handles, handrails, light switches, and shared electronics
• Sweep and mop hard floors; vacuum carpets; inspect door mats for wear and tripping hazards
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including showers, tubs, whirlpools, sinks, countertops, and toilets
• Properly tie and remove trash bags; remain alert for tears or spills when handling waste
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards
• Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and label machines
• Inspect and treat stained or damaged laundry items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
• Track inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Assist residents with laundry-related inquiries or requests

• Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care instructions
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
• Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
