TEMP to HIRE Accounts Payable Specialist Accounting Greenwood Village, Colorado Contract To Hire May 1, 2026 TEMP TO HIRE – Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (HYBRID- 3 days in/2 days remote) Pay: $30/hr We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist – Payments to support one of our healthcare clients. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. This role is critical to the Accounts Payable department and focuses heavily on payment processing, reconciliation, and compliance . The ideal candidate has strong transactional AP experience, excellent attention to detail, and hands‑on experience working in Oracle or a similar ERP system. Key Responsibilities Act autonomously to process and record various forms of payments, including Electronic ACH payments Ensure all payments are accurate and supported by proper backup documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures Update and maintain payment logs and Smartsheets for audit and reporting purposes Process void check requests and monitor the disbursement inquiry inbox, resolving issues and requests promptly Communicate with the AP Manager regarding expedite requests, payment issues, and exceptions Review banking portals daily to ensure all exceptions are addressed before deadlines Complete daily reconciliations for prior-day payment activity Assist with new project implementations and process improvements within Accounts Payable Maintain strict attention to detail, accuracy, reliability, and attendance in this critical role Adhere to all Accounts Payable policies, company procedures, and information systems security requirements Support audits and internal reporting as needed Qualifications & Experience Education: High School Diploma or GED required Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a high-volume transaction processing environment. Professional experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or financial analysis preferred Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with Oracle or similar automated AP/ERP systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access) required Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage priorities independently and meet strict deadlines Detail‑oriented, self‑starter with the ability to work with limited supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
