Radiologic Technologist
The position requires a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform X-ray and fluoroscopy imaging. Candidates will first float between two campuses as needed. Call-outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. The candidate will work evening shifts from Thursday to Wednesday with an average of 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next week. There is a call requirement of 2 day shifts per month starting at 0630 until 0700 the next day. The department performs an average of 123 exams daily. The candidate will use Meditech for EMR and Synapse for PACS. Equipment used in the department includes GE, Siemens, and Dornier for X-ray and fluoroscopy, and GE, Siemens, and Philips for C-arms. Radiologists are in-house from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. Candidates will rarely need to start IVs. Weekend and holiday work requirements are applicable if they fall on a scheduled shift. A 30-minute response time for call is required. Black scrubs are required but not provided. The department does not utilize Registered Radiology Assistants. No floating to other areas within the facility is required.
