About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar specialty License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - IV Start - Telemetry monitoring - Epic charting experience Description: This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse to work in a Med/Surg and Telemetry Float Pool. The nurse will provide care to adult and geriatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses. Floating to various units is required within the organization. Routine weekend and holiday shifts are expected. The nurse will be responsible for managing IVs and monitoring telemetry. Experience with Epic as a charting system is essential. Additional responsibilities include administering blood products and managing chest tubes. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates must be able to adhere to protocols for hemodialysis and manage critical interventions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary. The role involves supporting and advocating for patients' needs throughout their stay. All candidates must complete fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
