RESPONSIBILITIES Assist physicians with medical procedures in office. Perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting, and maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office, with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred. High school diploma or GED required; must provide proof at time of hire. BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide a BLS course within the first 30 days).
