Asset Management Specialist

The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a Asset Management Specialist #646. Required Work Experience One to three years of experience with customer service, operation of IT, telecom, and/or office equipment, and experience maintaining inventory management systems or equivalent databases. Required Special Skills/ Knowledge Experience maintaining inventory management programs or equivalent databases. Ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing. Knowledge of ticketing software and procedures. Knowledge of office equipment, computers, and relevant software and web applications. Working Conditions Work is performed in a professional office environment within the Senate, where the pace can vary depending on organizational needs, office transitions, and technology-related activities. Work involves regular use of computers, handheld devices, and other office equipment, along with frequent interaction with Senate offices, committees, vendors, and internal teams. Work requires moving, lifting, or transporting IT equipment such as laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals. Occasional travel within Senate facilities is expected when conducting physical inventories, delivering equipment, or assisting with office closures and transitions.
