Peptide Biochemist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
- Perform peptide synthesis for small scale production
- Clean and maintain synthesizers
- Execute automated purifications using chromatographic techniques including but not limited to HPLC UPLC LC-MS
- Prepare buffers and solutions; maintain inventories and lab equipment
- Document assay data and contribute to study reports
- Operate program and perform high throughout testing using laboratory automation and liquid handling
- Perform experiment documentation/notebook
- Assist in any troubleshooting operation and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation
- Develop and maintain knowledge of various aspects of laboratory operations
- Interact effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant laboratory experience
- HPLC UPLC LCMS buffer prep peptide synthesis
- Strong scientific organizational and computer skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated adaptable and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Committed to continuous improvement and high-quality data delivery using ALCOA principles
Position is full-time first-shift Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM.
Base pay is between $23.50 - $25.50.
