Legal Recruiter | Business Solutions Manager @ Adams & Martin Group

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a leading law firm in San Francisco seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their collaborative and fast‑paced team. This is a full‑time, fully on‑site position, offering an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys and gain hands‑on exposure to all stages of litigation.

Responsibilities

The Paralegal will assist attorneys with:

• Preparing litigation documents
• Drafting correspondence and memoranda
• Setting appointments, meetings, and depositions
• Preparing deposition and trial exhibits
• Document editing and light word processing (paralegal must process their own work)
• Conducting legal research and cite‑checking
• Performing factual investigations
• Contacting clients and potential clients
• Coordinating updates and revisions to the firm website
• Filing and serving legal documents (electronically and in hard copy)
• Managing and organizing data and documents, creating and maintaining litigation databases
• Searching and retrieving electronic discovery from databases and other sources
• Managing administrative, calendar, and records functions
• Assisting with general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and answering telephones

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal, preferably with mid to large firm experience
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments
• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor under pressure
• Willingness to work overtime (nights and weekends) as required
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency with Lexis
• Experience with Relativity, Summation, Concordance, CaseMap, and/or other litigation database programs
• Strong familiarity with basic legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery) and a firm understanding of litigation procedures

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds of documents
• Ability to read information on a computer monitor for extended periods (up to 10 hours a day, when needed)

Productivity Requirements (Optional)

• Expected to bill at least 100 hours per month on billable client matters, with minimal write‑offs due to quality of work
