Job Summary Positions Available: FT (5) 8-hour shifts M-F; on call & holiday rotation FT (3) 12-hour shifts M-F; on call & holiday rotation **Candidate must live within 30 minutes from Phoenixville Hospital** Assists surgical team during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms. The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Qualifications Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role. 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree Certification and Licensure BLS Certification Certified Surgical Tech (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT (New grads must obtain within 6 months of graduation) or has been employed to practice surgical technology according to House Bill 81 Experience: Minimum 1-year Surgical Technologist Experience Phoenixville, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs.
