Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role
- Familiarity with classroom routines and positive behavior interventions
- Ability to assist students with academic, social, and emotional needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and teachers
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce lessons and encourage participation
- Provide instructional assistance under the direction of certified teachers
- Support students with special needs, ensuring access to educational activities and resources
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning atmosphere
- Prepare materials and organize resources to aid curricular activities
- Monitor student progress and communicate insights to teaching staff
- Contribute to a respectful and supportive school community through daily interactions
